Port Royal!

In 1969, Zenith launched the "El Primero", the first automatic chronograph caliber. The designation 3019PHC was chosen as the caliber name. The 30 stands for the 30mm diameter of the movement, 1 as the chronological number of the caliber with the same diameter and the 9 as the designation for chronographs. The three letters stand for P=Power, H=Hour & C=Calendar. In the movements with the designation PHF and moon phase, the F most probably stands for "Full" (full calendar).

After Zenith-Movado stopped production of the El Primero in 1975 due to the quartz crisis, it took almost 9 years before production was resumed in 1984. In the meantime, the remaining El Primero movements were sold or used in small special editions.

We are proud to present one such special edition - the Zenith "Port Royal". Launched in 1984, only around 270 examples were built in titanium/titanium with a titanium dial until 1986.

Our Zenith is in excellent, almost mint condition. The case shows only slight signs of wear. The reference number on the case cover is very easy to read. The strap is practically as good as new.

The titanium dial is in excellent condition. All of the luminous material is present. No discoloration or similar is visible.

Inside ticks the famous, first El Primero 3019 PHF with 36,000 vibrations per hour, date, month, day of the week and moon phase.

The watch comes with the original sales documents from Hong Kong from 1988.

The watch has been checked by our workshop and comes with a 1-year guarantee.

Our Service

Each vintage watch is individually selected and carefully checked by us. Once we have purchased a watch, it is mechanically and fully tested and inspected in our watchmaker's workshop. If necessary, the movement is fully serviced to ensure it meets our high standards.

We will always describe the watch as fully as possible in our sales texts. Our zoomable images are of the highest quality and form an important part of the description of each watch. Therefore, we do not retouch our images. We will never hide or cover up any element of a watch we sell.

One element of our unparalleled service is fully insured courier delivery with personal handover. Once you have received your watch, we recommend that you check it thoroughly. If you are not 100% satisfied, please let us know. We offer a 14 day returns policy. Simply return the watch for a full refund of the purchase price.

Our Warranty

We offer a one-year guarantee within the EU on the mechanical function of the watch from the day of purchase. We do not guarantee the water resistance of (vintage) watches, unless explicitly stated in writing. Therefore, our warranty does not cover damage to the case and/or movement caused by water or moisture entering the watch. Our warranty does not apply to accidental damage or improper handling of your watch and does not cover the bracelet, case parts (including pushers, winding stem, crown and bezel), watch glass, dial and hands.
