During the 60's Japan with its booming economy belonged to the Asian tiger countries. Due to this economic boom and to protect its own economy, high import duties were imposed on foreign products. To circumvent these, Rolex decided to export only the watch itself, without the bracelet, and to put a japanese made bracelet onto the watch. Our watch, made in 1974, dates from this era, making it especially rare. To offer this rare piece, the watch was imported by us directly from Japan to Germany.
The watch comes in an almost flawless condition. The case shows hardly any wear marks. The strap has little stretch.
Tritium dial and hands are authentic from the time.
Inside ticks caliber 1556 without quick set function.
The watch has been fully serviced by our partner workshop and comes with 1 year warranty.

Our Warranty
We offer a one-year warranty on the mechanical function of the watch from the day of purchase. We do not guarantee the water resistance of (vintage) watches unless expressly stated in writing. Therefore, our warranty does not cover damage to the case and / or movement caused by water or moisture entering the watch. Our warranty does not cover accidental damage or improper handling of your watch and does not cover the bracelet, case parts (including pushers, winding stem, crown and bezel), watch glass, dial and hands.
