The classic from the house of Junghans, produced in the years 1949- approx.1952. In an advertising brochure of the company Junghans from the 1950s, the chronograph is described as the "first chronograph in normal size manufactured in Germany". Furthermore, all 252 parts of the movement were manufactured by the Junghans company itself in over 2,000 work steps at the time. Even the mainspring, which was difficult to manufacture at the time.
The beautiful Chronograph has the legendary caliber 88 which also found its place in the early pilot watches from Junghans.
The movement has been completely overhauled by our partner workshop and is in full working condition.
The chrome case is in used condition commensurate with its age with signs of wear and use. The hand play is of later vintage.
Please note that the watch is no longer water resistant due to its age.
