When Tudor was founded by Hans Wilsdorf in 1926, the brand's watches were intended to be a high-quality but slightly cheaper alternative to Rolex. For decades, it remained a pure alternative with little demand. In the meantime, this development has turned 180° and vintage and current Tudor models are enjoying unprecedented demand and value development.
With the launch of the Black Bay line and in particular the GMT references, Tudor has struck a chord with the times. Historic design elements such as the riveted bracelet, domed sapphire crystal without magnifying glass and the absence of a flank guard are reminiscent of the Rolex and Tudor models of the 1950s.
The condition of this reference 79833MN is very good. The case has sharp edges and only slight micro-scratches. The bracelet is in equally good condition. The bezel shows no signs of damage.
Inside beats the caliber MT5652 with second time zone. This is set by turning the bezel to the corresponding position of the GMT hand in accordance with the local time. The home time is maintained via the normal hour and minute hands.
The watch has been fully tested by our workshop and comes with a 1-year guarantee.
