The first of its kind!

An icon of modern Rolex history – the Daytona 16520 equipped with the legendary Zenith-based automatic movement is among the most sought-after references from the brand. It marks the transition into the era of automatic Daytonas and has firmly secured its place in the world of collectors.

The example offered here is a W-series from 1995, featuring the highly desirable white Tritium dial paired with matching Tritium hands. The evenly aged lume provides an authentic vintage charm that collectors truly appreciate.

The 40 mm stainless steel case is in very attractive and honest vintage condition – unpolished, showing only light wear consistent with careful use over time. These minimal signs of age preserve both the character and originality of the watch. The Oyster clasp carries the correct “W8” stamp, perfectly matching the production period.

Inside ticks the renowned Rolex Caliber 4030, derived from the famous Zenith El Primero – extensively modified and refined by Rolex to meet its strict quality standards. A movement known for its historical significance, precision, and reliability.

While the original box and papers are no longer present, the watch has been fully inspected and tested by our in-house watchmakers and comes with a 1-year warranty.

A truly exceptional collector’s piece from the coveted “Zenith era” – authentic, original, and displaying the kind of character that only time can create. A must-have for enthusiasts of historic Daytona models.
