The launch of the Submariner in 1953 was the brainchild of Rolex's director at the time, Reneé-Paul Jeanneret. He wanted a diver's watch that was technically and functionally up to date, but at the same time had such an elegant design that it could be worn with a suit without hesitation. Thus the Submariner was born. The watch with which you could sit in a board meeting in the morning and go diving in the Mediterranean with Jacques Cousteau at noon.

In 1988, the first series of the new Submariner Rolesor Ref.16613 was launched with the revised caliber 3135. From this first series comes our offered Submariner Date.

The watch comes in a perfect collectors set - first delivery USA. The case of the watch as well as the strap can be described as mint. Beautiful, sharp edges and no tension loss! The green Rolex seal is still on the case cover.

Our Service

Each vintage watch is individually selected and carefully checked by us. After we purchase a watch, it is mechanically and fully tested and inspected in our watchmaker's workshop. If necessary, the movement will be fully serviced to ensure it meets our high standards.

We will always describe the watch as completely as possible in our sales texts. Our zoomable pictures are of the highest quality and form an important part of the description of each watch. Therefore, we do not retouch our images. We will never hide or cover up any element of a watch we sell.

One element of our unparalleled service is fully insured courier shipping with personal delivery. Once you receive your watch, we encourage you to inspect it thoroughly. If you are not 100% satisfied, please let us know. We offer a 14-day return policy. Simply return the watch for a full refund.

Our Warranty

We offer a one-year warranty on the mechanical function of the watch from the day of purchase. We do not guarantee the water resistance of (vintage) watches unless expressly stated in writing. Therefore, our warranty does not cover damage to the case and / or movement caused by water or moisture entering the watch. Our warranty does not cover accidental damage or improper handling of your watch and does not cover the bracelet, case parts (including pushers, winding stem, crown and bezel), watch glass, dial and hands.
