Reneé-Paul Jeanneret's Dream in Green!

The launch of the Submariner in 1953 was the brainchild of Reneé-Paul Jeanneret, Rolex's director at the time. He wanted a diver's watch that was technically and functionally up to date, but at the same time had such an elegant design that it could be worn with a suit without hesitation. Thus the Submariner was born. The watch with which you could sit in a board meeting in the morning and go diving in the Mediterranean with Jacques Cousteau at noon.

To celebrate this dream, Rolex launched the reference 16610LV (LV=Lunette Vert / Green Bezel) for the 50th anniversary in 2003.

In contrast to the normal reference 16610, the anniversary edition has a green bezel, larger indices, fixed lugs as well as the by far better increase in value.

Inside, the caliber 3135 ticks since 1988 and like every Rolex movement, it will perform its duty for decades without any complaints, if well treated.

The watch is in a very good condition. The case shows hardly any signs of wear and has sharp edges throughout. The original Oyster strap with matching stamp and diver extension is in very good condition with hardly any stretch.

The watch has been fully serviced by our workshop and comes with a 2 year warranty.
