Launched in 1954 as a time zone watch for PanAm pilots, the GMT-Master line has become one of Rolex's most iconic model series. GMT (=Greenwich Mean Time) is synonymous with this function. The blue and red bezel is used to distinguish between day and night in the second time zone. Depending on where you are landing, simply turning the bezel to the local time allows you to read both your home time and the local time. To date, hardly any other manufacturer has succeeded in creating a faster, more practical, and probably more attractive design.
The case of this Reference 126710BLRO is in excellent condition with hardly any visible signs of wear. The Jubilee bracelet is also in excellent condition. Only minimal signs of wear are visible on the clasp upon close inspection.
The watch comes with all delivery documents and was purchased from a German jeweler in 2019.
