In 1954, Rolex originally developed the GMT-Master as a time zone watch for pilots at Pan American World Airways. What began as a functional tool became one of the most iconic model lines in watch history. GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time—and, at the same time, for a watch that is far more than just an instrument.
The Reference 116710LN presented here marks a significant milestone: it is the first GMT-Master II with a black ceramic bezel—a model that heralded Rolex’s transition to modern bezel technology.
This example is in mint condition, unworn, and has retained its original adhesive seal since its purchase in 2011. The watch comes in a perfect full set, including the hang tags.
The watch has been fully checked by our workshop and comes with a 1-year warranty.
