Sky Blue - A true Kind in the Air.
To provide better readability for pilots, Rolex made a watch that was then 34mm in diameter to introduce the Air-King in 1957. That may sound small compared to today, but back then it was revolutionary in size.
Our reference 5500 here is from 1972 and comes with a beautiful blue dial. Depending on the incidence of light, the color changes between deep blue and lighter blue.
After refurbishment in our atelier, the case and bracelet are in beautiful condition. Hardly any signs of wear are visible. The bracelet also has very little stretch. We have taken care to work as little as possible to preserve the patina of the watch.
The watch is fully serviced by our workshop and comes with 2 years warranty.
