King of the Air!

Our reference 5500 here is an R series, dates from 1988, comes as a full set and is probably the best Air-King we have ever had the pleasure of offering in terms of condition.

The case shows no signs of wear on the surface. The lugs are bold and the edges sharp. The case looks as if the watch has just come fresh from the factory.

The strap is in equally excellent condition with almost no stretch and all elements intact. The clasp also shows hardly any signs of wear.

The tritium dial is immaculate. The hands were replaced with Luminova service hands as part of the Rolex CPO service.

In addition to its excellent condition, the watch comes with the original papers from Bucherer in Basel from 1988, the Rolex pouch and translation booklet, the original box, the Rolex CPO box, warranty (2023), and seal.

The watch has been fully checked by our studio and comes with a 1-year warranty.
