The JLC Reverso Classique!
How can you protect a watch’s sapphire crystal while playing polo? That’s right—you simply flip the watch over to show the case back. Introduced in the early 19th century to protect the watches of the British upper class while they played their favorite sport—the JLC Reverso.
The model we’re offering is the classic steel version with the hand-wound Caliber 846 and a diameter of 20x33mm. The watch underwent a complete service by JLC on October 22, 2026, at a cost of just under €2,000.
The case shows slight signs of wear. There are no deep scratches or dents. The back of the case is not engraved. The original gold/steel bracelet is included and is also in very good condition.
The dial is flawless and was replaced during the service. The watch comes with the original purchase receipt from 1996, two older service receipts, and the new service receipt from October 2026. The service pouch is also included.
The watch was fully serviced by the manufacturer and comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.

We will always describe the watch as fully as possible in our sales texts. Our zoomable images are of the highest quality and form an important part of the description of each watch. Therefore, we do not retouch our images. We will never hide or cover up any element of a watch we sell.
One element of our unparalleled service is fully insured courier delivery with personal handover. Once you have received your watch, we recommend that you check it thoroughly. If you are not 100% satisfied, please let us know. We offer a 14 day returns policy. Simply return the watch for a full refund of the purchase price.
Our Warranty
We offer a one-year guarantee on the mechanical function of the watch from the day of purchase within the EU. We do not guarantee the water resistance of (vintage) watches, unless expressly stated in writing. Therefore, our warranty does not cover damage to the case and/or movement caused by water or moisture entering the watch. Our warranty does not apply to accidental damage or improper handling of your watch and does not cover the bracelet, case parts (including pushers, winding stem, crown and bezel), watch glass, dial and hands.
