High-Beat
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Ref. 875.42 is regarded as one of the most desirable vintage Memovox references ever produced by the manufacture. It combines the timeless design of the early Memovox models with the modern high-beat Caliber 916, making it one of the most balanced and collectible references in the Memovox lineage.
This example is presented in mint collector's condition. Both the case and the dial are exceptionally well preserved and virtually flawless. The only point worth mentioning is a tiny, barely noticeable scratch on the acrylic crystal.
Although measuring 37 mm in diameter, the watch wears significantly larger thanks to its well-proportioned case design and expansive dial layout, giving it a remarkably modern presence on the wrist. The previous owner applied a protective film to the case cover.
Inside beats the legendary Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 916, an automatic in-house movement featuring the brand's iconic Memovox mechanical alarm. The high-beat movement (28.800A/h) is renowned not only for its precision but also for the distinctive, crisp sound of its mechanical alarm, making it one of the most celebrated alarm calibers in vintage watchmaking.
The watch is fitted with a new leather strap that is not manufactured by Jaeger-LeCoultre, while the original Jaeger-LeCoultre pin buckle is included, preserving the watch's authenticity.
An exceptionally well-preserved Memovox with outstanding case condition, a flawless dial, and one of the most fascinating complications in classic watchmaking. A rare opportunity to acquire one of Jaeger-LeCoultre's most iconic vintage timepieces.
The watch has been fully inspected by our workshop comes with 1 year warranty.
