The example offered here features a 37 mm case made of 18-karat red gold and comes from its first owner. The watch is in very good overall condition with only slight, superficial signs of wear. It is offered as part of a stunning full set, including all original documentation.
Inside, the A. Lange & Söhne in-house caliber L921.2 operates with automatic winding and a zero-reset function, whereby the seconds hand jumps to zero when the crown is pulled out, allowing for second-precise time setting. Through the sapphire crystal case back, one can admire the intricately hand-finished movement with its characteristic three-quarter plate, hand-engraved balance cock, gold chatons, and blued screws.
