Spacemission for your wrist!

The Ref.140/42 ST is probably the most historic chronograph from the specialty watch manufacturer Sinn from Frankfurt am Main.

During the first German space mission in 1985, the space traveler and physicist Reinhard Furrer wore the Sinn chronograph on his wrist and thus wrote German watch history. This reference proved that an automatic watch can also function in space. As a reminder of this, our Spacelab on offer also bears a special engraving with the space shuttle and the inscription “First German Spacelab Mission - 1St Atomatic Chronograph in Space Sinn Model 140/42”. Unofficially, the Seiko 6139 was the first automatic watch in space.

Inside ticks the legendary Lemania caliber 5100 with day and date display as well as the famous and practical central hand minuterie to be able to read the minutes of the stop times faster and better with a hand from the center of the dial.

The watch is in very good condition with only a small scratch on the upper right horn. Otherwise, the watch, dial and hands are in very good condition.

The watch also received a complete manufacturer's service in August 2022. The receipts and service cover are present.

The watch has been fully checked by us and comes with a 1-year guarantee.
