Elegant and Appealing Silver Shadow
This beautiful Datejust, reference 16014, has a rare peculiarity. Between the lugs is engraved only the reference number without the typical "Registered Design" or "Orig. Rolex Design".
From circa 1980 to 1982, the Rolex design patent expired and Rolex stopped engraving "Registered Design". It was not until 1982 that Rolex started again with the "Orig. Rolex Design" engraving. This makes the watch a real collector's item.
The great case with sharp edges shows only very slight signs of wear. Therefore we have decided not to refurbish the case to pass on as much substance as possible to you.
The luminous dots, of the perfect silver dial have taken on a vanilla hue over the decades. At 8 and 9 o'clock, these are very slightly damaged. The dial is stamped "T SWISS T". There are light scratches on the plexiglass which are barely visible.
The Jubileé bracelet, reference 62510M, is in perfect condition with barely any stretch, 555 end links and is stamped "F 12".
The watch has been fully serviced by our workshop and comes with a 2 year warranty.
