Here we have the successor of the Mark XII - the IWC Mark XV Ref. 3253.As you might have noticed, two numbers were skipped, the 13 & 14, due to the fact that the 13 is considered unlucky in the West and the 14 in Asia - so from 1999 on, there was the Mark 15!
The Mark XV comes with a 2 mm larger case compared to the Mark XII as well as an ETA based caliber. Otherwise, the design was adopted almost unchanged.
Our offered Mark XV is from 1999 and the original tritium dial is in excellent condition. The hands have a light vanilla hue.
The case is in excellent condition with only a few wear marks. The watch was not refurbished but only worn a little by the first owner.
For better wearing comfort the previous owner added an original IWC folding clasp.
The watch comes with all documents as well as the original box and outer box. The cushion of the box is no longer present. Likewise, the box is in what IWC knows is no longer excellent condition with signs of wear.
The watch has been fully inspected by our atelier and comes with 1 year warranty.
