Rolex Sea-Dweller „Double Red“ – Ref. 1665 (Mark IV Dial)
One of Rolex’s most sought-after vintage sports watches—the Sea-Dweller Double Red Ref. 1665 with a Mark IV dial—is an icon in the history of diving watches.
The watch offered here bears a serial number of 5.1 million and, according to the original sales documents (LC100, Germany), was delivered in September 1977. The case is in very good and authentic condition. The proportions are harmonious, the edges are sharp, and the material is in excellent condition.
The Mark IV dial presents itself beautifully overall and shows uniform, attractive aging that harmonizes with the patina of the hands. There is a small chip on the dial at 11 o’clock.
The original bezel insert is still in place, though the luminous dot has been replaced once. The Oyster bracelet was replaced in the 1990s and complements the watch perfectly for daily wear.
The serial number is stamped on the case back.
The watch comes with the original German papers (LC100) as well as the box and several booklets. An extremely authentic and collectible Double Red—with genuine substance, beautiful patina, and documented history. A true highlight for lovers of classic Rolex dive watches.
The watch has been fully checked by our workshop and comes with a 1-year warranty.

Therefore, our warranty does not cover damage to the case and / or movement caused by water or moisture entering the watch. Our warranty does not cover accidental damage or improper handling of your watch and does not cover the bracelet, case parts (including pushers, winding stem, crown and bezel), watch glass, dial and hands.
