The IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Antoine de Saint Exupéry is one of the most sought-after special editions within IWC’s pilot watch collection. Dedicated to the famous French writer and aviator, it is particularly admired for its beautiful brown dial, which gives this reference its distinctive character and sets it apart from the more traditional black-dial pilot’s watches.
The example offered here dates from 2006 and is presented as a complete full set, including the original box, papers, and original purchase invoice. The watch is in very good, lightly worn condition, showing only normal, superficial signs of wear. There is a small scratch on the bezel at 12 o’clock, which is mentioned for the sake of completeness.
The dial is in outstanding condition and perfectly complements the warm and unique character of this special edition. The original strap is still fitted, although it may be worth considering a replacement due to its age.
