Haute Horlogerie by Blancpain – the Reference 1186, a milestone in watchmaking. When it was introduced in 1989, it was the first split-seconds chronograph with an automatic movement, setting a new standard in complication watches.
The watch offered here dates from 1993 and comes with its original box, papers (unstamped), and the original purchase invoice from August 1993 for DM 45,900! The original Blancpain pin buckle is also included.
The case shows signs of wear, but these are purely superficial. There are minor marks on the bezel ring, which underline the authentic character of this timepiece. The dial and hands are in immaculate condition.
Inside, the complex automatic movement with split-seconds function is a testament not only to technical sophistication but also to Blancpain's innovative strength.
